Born to musical parents, Jagadeesh was drawn to music, which became his inspiration and focus during his teenaged years. He later chose a career as a clinical lab scientist at the University of Washington Medical Center. Midway through that career he found his spiritual family, Ananda, after reading Autobiography of a Yogi, by Paramhansa Yogananda. His new-found spirituality led him to hospice work, an M.A. Psychology degree at Antioch University and four years as a mental health counselor. Jagadeesh is an Ananda minister and Ananda Meditation® instructor, who has lived and taught in several Ananda centers in the U.S.
