Yoga means “union” – first of body and mind, and ultimately, of your limited self with limitless freedom and joy.

In this retreat, you will:

  • explore the deeper dimensions of familiar yoga postures (asanas)
  • incorporate pranayama (breath/energy control) into your yoga practice
  • feel the energetic flow and spiritual attitude of each asana
  • experience a deeper practice of meditation

Friday

3:30 – 6:00      Room Check in, Harmony Hall Foyer

4:30 – 6:00     Ananda Yoga Sadhana with energization, asanas, meditation

6:00 – 7:00      Dinner in Green Hill Café

7:30 – 9:00      Introductory Evening, principles of Ananda Yoga with practice of pranayama, asanas, and affirmations. Introduction to Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. Gentle asana practice with guided meditation to close evening.

Saturday

8:00 – 9:00      Breakfast (first ½ hour in Silence)

10:00 –11:00   Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga

11:15 –12:30 Full experiential Yoga Sadhana with energizing, Ananda Yoga asana practice with pranayama and affirmations, deep relaxation, prayer, chanting, guided meditation, healing prayers.

12:45 – 1:30    Lunch in Green Hill Café

4:30 – 6:00     Ananda Yoga Sadhana with energization, asanas, meditation

6:00 – 7:00      Dinner in Green Hill Café

7:30 – 9:00      Bhakti Yoga, evening dedicated to Divine Mother with brief asana practice to open the heart, closing with candle ceremony and meditation.
