Meditation & Yoga Retreats

Meditation

In the quiet, tranquil atmosphere of Ananda Laurelwood, learn how to combine meditation and yoga asanas (postures), affirmations and pranayama into a holistic spiritual practice to promote a peaceful mind, open heart, control of your life energy and an uplifted consciousness.

Meditation lifts our consciousness into an atmosphere of receptivity where we can begin to experience calmness, peace of mind, and happiness. It is a simple process that can be done anywhere and anytime. Yoga prepares the body for stillness in meditation.

First Timers’ Weekend is the perfect time to experience a little of everything Ananda offers for a discounted price.

The Guided Silent Retreat is suitable for both beginning and experienced meditators, and honors the many diverse traditions that practice meditation as a path to inner peace.

In the Mindfulness Meditation Retreat  we’ll explore how to be unconditionally present – to clearly see ourselves, just as we are and what is happening, just as it is.

Awaken the Chakras uses the practice of meditation and yoga to stimulate the subtle energy centers (chakras) which play an important role in our mental and physical health and our spiritual development.
